АБС Дэнни (англ. Dannie Abse; 22.09.1923, Кардифф, Великобритания — 28.09.2014, Лондон, Великобритания)- валлийский поэт и врач.[1]
- Биография
Дэнни Абс родился в еврейской семье. Младший брат психоаналитика Уилфреда Абса. Посещал католическую школу St Illtyd’s в Сплотте, что было нехарактерно для еврейского мальчика из среднего класса. Изучал медицину сначала в Cardiff University School of Medicine, затем в медшколе Вестминстера и в Королевском колледже Лондона. Несмотря на то, что Дэнни Абс известен, прежде всего, как поэт, он свыше тридцати лет проработал врачом. В 1989 году получил почётную докторскую степень в Университете Уэльса.
